Junior

Junior, Parish Dog

Junior was adopted on Friday afternoon, March 10, 2006 from the TLC Animal Shelter in Homer Glen.  At the time, he was about three months old. The shelter where he was staying got him from Indiana, so he’s imported. He is a “custom blended” breed with the possible ingredients being German Shepherd, Border Collie, Labrador Retriever, some kind of Hound. His parish responsibilities are still being determined. Currently he is responsible for patrolling the neighborhood and improving the physical and mental health of the Pastor by providing him with exercise and challenges to the virtue of patience. He is still discovering his many abilities and limitations. However, he is a quick learner and friendly (like someone else of recent fond memory). It's a little like having a seminarian around.
