Kath Rimac, Ministry of Care Coordinator
Kath Rimac grew up in Beverly and was educated by the Sisters of Mercy at Christ the King and Mother McAuley. She has lived in nine parishes in Illinois and Arizona and moved to St. Germaine when she got married. Kath found St. Germaine to be a special place and felt called to become an active member of the parish. Her first ministry was bringing the Eucharist to our homebound parishioners. She also became involved with Christ Renews His Parish and Rainbows. She spent six months in the R.C.I.A. program as a sponsor for her husband Jim when he decided to join the Church. In July 2002 Kath joined the staff at St. Germaine as the Minister of Care Coordinator. She visits our homebound parishioners as well as those in hospitals and nursing homes. Kath also oversees the many volunteers in our parish who contribute their time and energy to this ministry.
